A Cookie & A Cupcake- A cute tiny shop located in Tremont. The shop isn’t really big, but enough to have a cupcake display and counter. The cupcakes that were on display all looked super delicious!! They have 12 different type of cupcakes they sell on display, I brought the Signature (cookie monster), Espresso, Strawberry, Grasshopper, Red Velvet, and one giant chocolate chip cookie :) The guy that served me was really friendly and nice even though I went right before they were going to close. The cupcakes were really moist and soft and in the center of the cupcake they had different flavor of butter cream. The topping of butter cream also looks so perfect and tastes sweet, but not “too” sweet. I urge you guys to eat the cupcakes either with coffee or hot chocolate! I ate my espresso cupcake with hot chocolate and it was amazing combination!! Brings everything together.

Samurai Sushi and Steakhouse- This new Japanese steakhouse is located in Strongsville, right before the mall. This was my second time coming back here for hibachi. The prices for hibachi are considerably cheaper here than Benihana. However, the service at Benihana is much more friendly, enjoyable, and quicker. Some of the servers and hostess at Samurai seem to be a little rude and a bit slower at getting refills on drinks or bringing out drinks out together. Over looking the beverage and server situation I would say their sushi is pretty good actually, I order the Mexcian Roll as my appetizer , which is spicy tuna with avocado topped with tobiko (fish roe). As for hibachi dinner I had the steak and scallops that night and hibachi included the soup, salad, noodles, fried rice, and vegetables. The chef that cooked our food was super nice, friendly, and funny. We had a huge group for dinner that night and he cooked our food pretty well with all of our accommodations. The chef was mostly entertaining and created a great atmosphere for our group. So even though the servers and hostess might not have been that well the food was decent for the price and the chef was good entertainment. However, most certainly cannot be compared to Benihana in my opinion.

Paciugo Gelato & Caffe- Number one reason why I love gelato is because it has less fat than ice cream. The reason to why that is because they use milk instead of cream in the recipe. The texture is certainly more light and soft as to compared to ice cream of being rich and creamy. There will be a difference of texture and taste, but certainly a good one. The taste of the gelato is still strong and full of flavor, as I have sampled almost six different ones today! This was the first Paciugo I’ve been to and it was at the South Park Mall in Strongsville. The old man that served me was so very nice and gave me so many samples :) Instead of just getting simple gelato I got the latte con gelato, which is a shot of espresso mixed with a scoops of gelato that I choose. So instead of using just regular steamed milk, they would use the gelato instead. I picked the Irish Coffee gelato and it turned out to be the perfect balance of flavor, the Irish Coffee surprisingly did not over power the espresso and the combination of the two was perfectly delightful. I certainly encourage people that have never tried gelato or frozen yogurt to do so!

Tiramisu at Sushi Rock was a “meh”. Had it for New Year Eves dinner and probably could have gone without it. However, did make a cute picture and the open bar deal make it a little better. Happy New Year people :)

Yogurt Vi- I have been two both the Beachwood and Great Northern Mall locations. Both are very similar in style, it is bright and small in both areas. It is a self-served service, which means you pick up the bowl and put as much yogurt and topping as you want :) They have about 8 to 10 different flavors of yogurts available: chocolate, vanilla, original, fruit flavor and fun flavors like brownie or cake batter. They also house an abundant of different type of toppings from fresh diced up fruit, bits of cakes (cheese cakes!!), cookie dough, brownie, chocolate chips, chocolate candy bars, nuts and much more. One of my favorite is the mochi, they have little pieces of mochi and I love them! Then at last before you get to enjoy the bits of deliciousness you get your bowl of yogurt weighted, paid and they hand you the golden spoon to start your feast.

Sweet Moses Soda Foundation & Treat Shop- This is most certainly one of those gems you find in Cleveland. The shop is cute and in retro style, makes you feel like your getting ice cream in an old school ice cream parlor. Their ice cream are home made from their own recipes and it is amazing! The ice cream is creamy, soft and flavorful. They have other sweets available such as, different type of sodas, ice creams, sundaes, different chocolate treats and candy for any type of sweet tooth you may be having :) The sweet aroma that hits your nose when you walk absolutely melts you. The service is great and everyone is so nice there, a place you must take your first or second date on! I brought my friends some ice cream today, we got the Rocky Road, Pumpkin Spice (my favorite), Butter Pecan and all on waffle cones. Pumpkin Spice was mine and it was perfect, taste like a Pumpkin Spice you would get at Star Bucks and it was on sale.

Michael Angelo’s Bakery- all bake goods are made from there! It smells absolutely like happy flowers and unicorns :) I will most certainly go back and buy some cookies for friends and what not. They have cookies, cakes, muffins, pastries, parfaits and all bake goods you may think of. The only thing lacking may be chairs and table and real brew coffee station, besides that I love the atmosphere there.
