Samurai Sushi and Steakhouse- This new Japanese steakhouse is located in Strongsville, right before the mall. This was my second time coming back here for hibachi. The prices for hibachi are considerably cheaper here than Benihana. However, the service at Benihana is much more friendly, enjoyable, and quicker. Some of the servers and hostess at Samurai seem to be a little rude and a bit slower at getting refills on drinks or bringing out drinks out together. Over looking the beverage and server situation I would say their sushi is pretty good actually, I order the Mexcian Roll as my appetizer , which is spicy tuna with avocado topped with tobiko (fish roe). As for hibachi dinner I had the steak and scallops that night and hibachi included the soup, salad, noodles, fried rice, and vegetables. The chef that cooked our food was super nice, friendly, and funny. We had a huge group for dinner that night and he cooked our food pretty well with all of our accommodations. The chef was mostly entertaining and created a great atmosphere for our group. So even though the servers and hostess might not have been that well the food was decent for the price and the chef was good entertainment. However, most certainly cannot be compared to Benihana in my opinion.
